Connected

I have just recieved, in the mail my new book by Nicholas A. Christakis and James H. Fowler.

It is titled "Connected" and explores the influence that social networks and groups have on the individual in a variety of contexts.

My ultimate aim with this book is to explore social networks and their relationship to ideologies. I would ultimately like to sift through the complexity of Zizek's thought, and tie it to some of the priniciples in 'Connected' to come to a better understanding about how ideology is changing in world where social networking is becomming ever more important.

The only missing component is net neturality, Intellectual Property issues over the internet and internet privacy issues and their relation to ideology and social networks. I need to find a third book to complete the trio!
